Paula Otero  
Paula is an accomplished marketing professional recognized by clients and colleagues alike for her ability to consistently deliver game-changing strategies. Her expertise is deeply rooted in social media, content, PR and digital marketing. 

As founder and Director of Public Relations with La Kart Marketing Paula brings 20 years of expertise to every client and project she leads.

Her client experience with La Kart includes: State Farm Insurance, Loyola  Press, Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Cruise Line, Babies-R-Us, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Sam’s Club, Walgreen’s and Total Wine and More. In addition to creating custom publicity programs for senior level executives and authors. 

Paula earned her stripes working for some of the world’s largest ad agencies: Ogilvy & Mather, Young & Rubicam (The Bravo Group). There, she led successful & innovative marketing campaigns for clients that include: AT&T, Unilever Suave, Red Lobster, Chase Bank and the “got milk?” campaign. 

Through her commitment to local non-profits Paula has created and carried out dozens of events with a charitable tie-in, these include Beauty with a Mission (’14, ’15) and Chicago Multicultural Connections.
